Hi EIC Family Members!
How have you been doing?
As you know, G8 Summit has been held at Hokkaido Toyako.
All of us have already noticed that our earth is facing very serious crisis.
Now is the time when we have to cooperate with each other to save our earth.
But some of the people don’t want to do that. Why? They want to protect only their right or wealth. It is too sad. We, EIC family members know that the importance, power of cooperation. We can say “Nothing is Impossible.” That is the role of us as an Ambassadors of World Peace. Keep it up!
Today, I want to introduce one book.

Today, I want to introduce one book.
It is “The Last Lecture:最後の授業.”
This is the non-fiction story written by a professor Randy Pausch of Carnegie Mellon University.
One day he was told that he could live only for six months because of his cancer.
Then he decided to do the final lecture to leave his message for many people, especially for his family.
For me, this is the BEST book of this year so far.
We can think deeply, “What is the meaning of life?”
He also mentioned that “the big wall (= difficulty) will stand, appear in front of us to test how much we want to achieve the goal.” 「私たちの目の前に大きな壁(=困難)が現れるのは、私たちがどれくらい真剣にその目標を達成したいのかを確かめるためだ。」と

You can watch the video of that lecture through Youtube.
I recommend you to watch it with your parents.
